Personal updates for October (2017)

After a long time, I'm back with personal updates.

Books (Light Novel)

I finished reading My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong as I Expected Vol. 1 (read my review), and was willing to start Vol. 2
but unfortunately, it's not available for Kindle, only in print, so I'm going to wait more to continue this series.
But today The Empty Box and Zeroth Maria Vol. 1 was released, and as I already pre-ordered it, I'm ready to start.

Synopsis: Kazuki Hoshino treasures nothing more than his ordinary life, and March 2 should have been an ordinary day. The arrival of a transfer student, the mysterious Aya Otonashi, shouldn't have shattered the world he knows. He's never seen this girl before in his life, but she says she's met him thousands of times--and declares war on him for a crime he can't even remember... As the truth begins to unravel, nothing is as it seems, and at the heart of it all is a wish powerful enough to change everything...

TV Shows

I'm watching Outlander (Season 3), Stranger Things (Season 2) and Modern Family (Season 9), and just finished watching Big Mouth on Netflix.
I didn't have high expectations for it, but it's way better than I thought it would be, so I guess you should take a look, watch the trailer here. Also, I'm watching the new Ducktales show.

Big Mouth: Even for a cartoon character, going through puberty isn't easy for a young person. Andrew is learning that first hand as he experiences the nightmare that is growing up in this animated series geared toward adults. Along for the ride are friends Nick and Jessi, who develop a budding romance along the way.

Asian Dramas

During October I finished Strongest Deliveryman, Suspicious Partner (Love in Trouble) and Circle on DramaFever,
and started watching Okitegami Kyōko no Bibōroku. The latter is based on a light novel that I'm interest into, and I listed the novel on this post.

Okitegami Kyoko is a beautiful detective who has a deep love for money. She is also known as the Forgetful Detective. Her memory is reset when she sleeps at night, which means she can strictly adhere to confidentiality requirements. She solves all her cases within a day, whatever they may be. She is the world's fastest detective! There is something really important that Kyoko must never forget, and it is written on her body with a marker.

Anime

After finally finishing Re:Zero, which I put on hold when it was airing, I decided to watch Overlord, and I'm glad that I did it. It's really cool, and I can't wait for season 2.
I'm also finishing Gabriel Dropout, and I don't know what I'll watch next. From this season I'm only watching Shokugeki no Soma.

Music

Just watch this wonderful Taeyeon's video. :D
